The Healthcare Development & Innovation Group (HDIG) provides the tools to ensure success for Innovation Centers, startups, provider innovative processes, and corporate partners/vendors
HDIG is a membership funded organization that provides a comprehensive database of information about innovation centers and their portfolio companies to help leaders evaluate opportunities, to connect investment priorities with startups in this space, to reveal where needs are not being met and provide benchmarking to evaluate their own centers. Additional resources are available throughout the journey to aid in the success of an idea from concept to market.
Innovations Centers; necessary but hard to defend
The demand for solutions that deliver high quality, affordable healthcare has never been higher. In order to identify emerging opportunities, threats and larger trends or themes that impact the healthcare sector, hospitals and systems have invested heavily in innovation and business incubation centers.
These centers are held responsible for delivering value to their sponsors. However, when Chief Innovation Officers, or Innovation Centers leaders are asked to defend their value they find that difficult, or impossible.
